"New Home" in Sanyati

Today, I received an email from Mark Hatfield, the Baptist Global Response Director for Sub-Saharan Africa.  Mark and his wife will travel Sanyati in early May to visit and help us get situated in our "new home."  Wow, I guess I never thought of it like that.  My family will have a new home in Africa.  It is a short term commitment, just under six months.  That is a little longer than a mission trip.  We will make our home in Sanyati.

Please pray for the power and water of Sanyati.  As of Monday, they were without power for at least five days and had run out of stored water.  (Normally they get at least four hours of power, or Zesa as they call it, a day.)  There is a place to get water by hand from a well but you can imagine the difficulties of operating a hospital without running water.  Additionally, there is a Lifeway FUGE team there working on the roof for two weeks.  It makes it everything more difficult, so please pray for them.
